My sister who is going to be having her second child (my first nephew) any day now, wrote this as she sends her daughter (my beautiful niece Brooklynn) to school for her first full day.
On this day; I stopped and took a moment for myself... I could hear my thoughts... They were telling me to look beyond the norm... The heavens brightly opened up with a harmonious hummmmm... Faintly in the distance—There was a sweet, loving, sound... A warm glow came over me... My body immediately relaxed... I could see doves... Peacefully gliding towards me... One gently kissed my cheek with his wing as the others danced around me in rhythmic formation... I was being embraced by peace... I could feel peace... Just as I was basking completely in this joy... The sound of a Cat’s meow jolted me... Meow MEowwww MEOWwwww... MEEEOOOOWWWWWW.... I quickly turned toward it and was back in my living room... Staring at what seemed to be puked up hairballs! Awesome I thought to myself! But I then remembered what led me to the beautiful peace I had just experienced... My daughter started her first day of all-day-School! And just like that the cat cries I could no longer hear... I sat and had what seemed to be coffee made from heaven! ...one kid out of the house one to go!
